Landscape Management Forecast: July 03 – July 17, 2026

July 3, 2026

Here’s a Preview of Your Upcoming Landscape Services

Meeting will be resuming on 06.29.2026

Mowing :
  • Weekly mow is being performed every week moving forward this will be through October 2026.
  • We will also be spraying the same day we perform the mowing for Manatee Cove. The spraying schedule will start in the Club House and then the outer wall.
  • Due to weather conditions schedules can change due to rainfall. This could potentially cause delays on the mowing schedule.
Pruning :
  • July’s prune cycle is scheduled to be performed the second week in July.
  • Main focus this month’s prune cycle- shrubs around the homes. This includes cocoplums, viburnum and bottle brush plantings.
  • We pruned all the clusia to the contractual height of 5ft to 6ft. Any homes that wish to have them higher will be responsible for upcoming heights. Greenscapes can prune them but will be at an additional cost.
  • The no prune list is updated and will be following the list accordingly.  “No prune list is being updated as we have homeowners not wanting to have them pruned.” 07.03.2026
Irrigation :
  • Irrigation wet checks are scheduled for the 2nd week of the month.
  • Water management has set a restriction to water 3 days a week. Manatee Cove is running this schedule.
  • Due to the amount of rainfall we have been experiencing we are reducing the irrigation times to 80% seasonal adjustment. This will make the changes to the amount of time the system runs per zone.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM):
  • The Silver Bismark at the front entrance is not showing any signs of getting better. It is still holding on for right now. 06.29.2026– date of inspection. We are holding on this work as the palm is at a standstill and not showing any signs of further damage.
  • IPM treatment was performed on August 17th week of, main focus will be insect activity on the plantings and weeds on turf.
Concerns/ Communication:
  • A representative is available at the clubhouse every Monday from 8:30am to 9:30am for board and resident concerns.
  • Submitted a few proposals for plant replacement at 1966 Tripletail, common area next to 1967 Tripletail dead tree.
  • Concerns as 2236 Yellowfin, installed a podocarpus hedge around the back of the property. No planting bed was created or mulch to help stop the weeds from going in this area. I want to spray it out but don’t want plantings fading out and Greenscapes be at fault.
Upcoming Landscape:
  • Presenting 2 proposals for Manatee Cove to review and discuss. Pool area and front entry islands. Send out proposal for Bismark palm removal- this work is at a hold palm could potentially come back.
  • Proposal for the additional mulch that will need to be used in the Fall.
  • Mulch application for this fall will need to be revised, last year’s number count was not accurate. Discusses with Joe and Victor on what I will be doing.
